The comprehensive evaluation process involves on-site assessments to understand the current implementation status of the DHIS2 system across various departments and divisions within the Ministry of Health, scrutinizing reporting forms and mechanisms. Additionally, it includes an assessment of the capacity of IT and Health Information teams, along with an examination of the existing IT governance structure and data storage capabilities within the national health data center. A field review of co-existing reporting systems, encompassing reporting forms and mechanisms, is conducted across different departments. The evaluation aims to identify specific support needs and formulate a detailed plan for the enhancement of DHIS2 implementation and utilization. Furthermore, it addresses the integration of existing systems, including potential new ones like HRHIS, into the DHIS2 platform. The overall objective is to optimize the efficiency and coherence of health information systems within the Ministry of Health.
