The National AIDS and STD Program (ASP) has been utilizing the national Health Management Information System (HMIS) platform, specifically DHIS2, in Bangladesh for tracking HIV patients. This has been made possible through technical collaboration with HISP Bangladesh Foundation since 2016. The system, initially developed several years ago, has undergone modifications over time to align with the evolving needs of the ASP. Presently, the HISP Bangladesh Foundation extends support to accommodate new requirements in HIV patient tracking and the generation of complex reports. Additionally, the foundation is actively involved in building the capacity of the National ASP program to ensure proficient management of HIV-related data.
